Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 April 2026
1. About these Terms
These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at www.arvoe.ai (the "Website") and the AI Governance Self-Assessment tool made available on the Website (the "Self-Assessment"). The Website and Self-Assessment are operated by Arvoe Pty Ltd (ABN 52 691 800 398) ("Arvoe", "we", "us", "our").
Use of the Arvoe Platform is not governed by these Terms. The Arvoe Platform (the application provided to subscribing organisations and their authorised users) is provided pursuant to a separate Services Agreement manually executed between Arvoe and your organisation. If you are using the Platform, your use is governed by that Services Agreement, not by these Terms.
By accessing or using the Website or the Self-Assessment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or the Self-Assessment.
2. Use of the Website
You agree not to:
- Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its underlying systems, or any data it transmits
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Website
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, harvest or extract data from the Website beyond what is permitted by our
robots.txtor otherwise expressly authorised by us - Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority when submitting forms, demo requests, or Self-Assessment responses
3. The Self-Assessment
The Self-Assessment is provided free of charge as an educational tool. It generates an indicative AI governance maturity view based on the responses you provide.
Information provided by or generated through the Self-Assessment is for informational purposes only, is non-binding, and is not a substitute for professional advice — including legal, compliance, risk, privacy, or educational advice. The Self-Assessment does not constitute a certification, audit, or guarantee of regulatory readiness.
We strive for accuracy, but parts of the Self-Assessment use AI and AI is fallible. Please verify any details that matter before relying on them, and seek qualified professional advice for decisions that affect your organisation, your staff or individuals in your care.
4. Intellectual property
The Website and its content — including text, graphics, logos, the AI Governance Maturity Model, the Self-Assessment's questions and scoring, blog content, templates, and the Website's design and code — are owned by Arvoe or its licensors and are protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
You may view and use the Website and the Self-Assessment for your own personal or internal organisational reference. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Website's content without our prior written consent, except where the law permits this without consent (for example, fair dealing for research or study).
5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Website and the Self-Assessment are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of harmful components, or fit for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arvoe is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity — arising from or in connection with your use of the Website or the Self-Assessment, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the updated version on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Website or the Self-Assessment after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
7. Privacy
Information you provide through the Website or the Self-Assessment is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. The courts of Queensland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with these Terms.
9. Platform use is governed separately
For clarity: these Terms govern only the Website and the Self-Assessment. They do not govern, modify, or supplement the Services Agreement under which the Arvoe Platform is provided to your organisation. Any conflict between these Terms and a Services Agreement, in respect of Platform use, is resolved in favour of the Services Agreement.
